Best place to ski

Get your ticket to Hokkaido now! Not only does it have fabulous powdery snow, but you can even afford the trip. The weather from the Sea of Japan creates fluffy, dry, sensational snow conditions. Compared to Europe and America, the lift tickets and accommodations are much less expensive. Visitors are warmly welcomed and the food is delicious. Japanese ski resorts always have enough snow because it is cold. Hokkaido is the north island in Japan and gets cold air from Siberia. It has a reputation for being deep not steep.

Is Halloween Rude?

Yesterday was Halloween in America. Trick or treaters go house to house begging for candy. most people participated. In Japan, begging for anything is rude. There might be private parties in peoples homes, but going to neighbors or strangers is unthinkable. I never saw Japanese children dressing up even for school plays.

Now that I have experienced Halloween three times I know it's fun. Japanese people live in dense housing without front yards to run through.

Since the Japanese think asking for anything from outside the family is rude, I doubt the Halloween ritual will be entering the country soon.

Manchester United v Galatasaray: Shinji Kagawa hints as a new dimension in United's playKagawa Shinji, Japanese footballer 3.jpg      Shinji Kagawa Shinji Kagawa of Manchester United poses with his Man of the Match award after the Friendly Match between Shanghai Shenhua and Manchester United at Shanghai Stadium on July 25, 2012 in Shanghai, China.
Shinji Kagawa is the best player in Japan, except he plays in the United Kingdom as well as in Japan.
He is a smart player who is fast on his feet and gets forward quickly. On September 6, Kagawa annoyed his coach, Alberto Zaccheroni, who hauled him off at halftime for too many stepovers. The last stepover left him in a heap as he tripped over his own feet. Kagawa was the first Japanese player to sign a profesional contract before finishing highschool. He is 23 years old, was born in Kobe, Japan.

What's It All About?

This blog is about all things Japanese. I was born in Japan and moved to Texas in 2010. I noticed the Japanese culture is different from the American culture, so I would like to share about Japanese sports, music, food, destinations and everything else. Readers will be interested in my perspective because I have lived in both countries and I have been many places throughout Japan and America. I know Americans like Sushi and Anime. Keep reading this blog to find more about Japan that you will like.
